Though much is made, and rightfully so, of Booker's sublime organ work on the title track and on "Pigmy," the contributions of the M.G. rhythm section are immeasurable. The addition of Donald "Duck" Dunn for this album was pivotal, allowing air-tight pockets of vintage soul and proto-funk. One of the most popular albums from the quintessential Memphis soul band.
